Peter Hillig is one of Western Sydney’s leading insolvency and reconstruction practitioners.
Highly regarded within the profession, Peter is well known for his commercial acumen and expertise in complex matters. Having specialised in insolvency and reconstruction for over 30 years, clients and referrers alike trust Peter to deliver outstanding results while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.
Peter has been a partner with Smith Hancock since 1999 after gaining significant experience in both the audit and insolvency fields working for a “Big 4” accounting firm. He has first-hand experience of the challenges facing business clients and has worked across a broad range of industry sectors, managing appointments for small-medium sized enterprises, large corporations and some of Australia’s most recognisable brands and national franchises.
Having worked in Western Sydney since 1990, Peter is also a respected member, and supporter, of the local business community. He is an active contributor to several causes and events and has been on the organising committee of the Coleman Greig Challenge, Western Sydney’s largest corporate charity race, since its inception in 2013.
